Welcome to Seeboden on Lake Millstätter See
The kind fairy, who according to legend taught the Carinthians how to sing, is still with us to our happiness!
Hence the common word: Three Carinthians - one choir.
In fact, singing together is widely practiced in our country and delights performers and listeners alike.
Singing does not only mean the cultivation of the existing songs, the voice, the tradition and the numerous new creations, but also guarantees social interaction.
And this is exactly what our choir festival at Lake Millstätter See "BERG-SEE-KLANG" conveys and promotes. This year from 25 to 27 September 2020.
We are looking forward to a lively participation in order to deepen the contacts and friendships among choirs, singers and singers from all over Austria and the neighbouring countries and simply to spend a few nice days among like-minded people in our region.
With musical greetings
Bernhard Zlanabitnig musical director
Already for the 5th time the choir festival "Berg-See-Klang" in Seeboden at the Millstätter See was invited. Choirs from Upper Austria, Styria, Salzburg, Burgenland and Tyrol have accepted the invitation of the Seeboden Tourism Association. FRIDAY, 20 September 2019 - RECEPTION On Friday, the atmosphere at the reception in the Rosenpark was already excellent. In addition to the obligatory welcome drink, Seeboden and Lake Millstätter See were introduced by Hellmuth Koch, head of the Seeboden Tourist Office, by means of entertaining and trenchant stories. On the part of the Seeboden clubs, the Singgemeinschaft Unterhaus and the Trachtenkapelle Seeboden welcomed the singers. SATURDAY, 21 September 2019, BERG-SEE-KLANG On Saturday the name of the festival was the program. Some of the choirs were introduced to life on the lake during a boat trip on Lake Millstätter See and Daniela Beils from the tourist office was again able to tell one or the other story with great charm. Musically presented the lake of MGV Harmonie. The tour ended with a guided tour of the Bonsai Museum. The day led those choirs to the Goldeck who wanted to experience the mountain. A mountain devotion, framed by the MGV Frohsinn Mörbisch, introduced this day. The MGV Seeboden accompanied the choirs to the two huts on the mountain. Of course, singing was not neglected here either and everyone could enjoy the hut's culinary delights to the full. In the evening the choirs invited to the concert of the guest choirs. A varied and entertaining programme delighted not only the choirs, but also the numerous guests. SUNDAY, 22 September 2019 Sunday brought sunshine again. An ecumenical church service at the Sängerplatzl in Tangern heralds the closing day. The Tangern singers' circle not only knew how to provide the singers with excellent food, but also how to encourage them to sing openly through their song performances. The American-style cake auction turned out to be a real cabaret, and Hellmuth Koch, with a lot of wit and charm, managed to raise a total of 550 euros for the village community.
