Strudel walk on Wednesday
This year the Strudel week in Seeboden starts on 11 September with the Strudel walk and many stories about Seeboden at Lake Millstätter See from 18:00.
During this walk, a 3-course strudel menu is served at three different stations.
The start is at the oldest house in Seeboden, the Brugger Keusche, today the seat of the Fisheries Museum. Strengthened by a soup strudel of the village community "Wirlsdorf - the village with heart" you set off on your journey. Along the way you can enjoy the view of Seeboden Bay, be enchanted by the splendour of the Winkler family's "Rosenpark" and take some wisdom with you on the "Path of Proverbs" in Kochstraße.
The second station leads to the "Bachlwirt". There already the piquant strudel waits for the guests. The path continues into the Klingerpark, past the Gendarmerieplatzl and the statues of Otto Eder. Learn more about Sonja Knips and her encounter with Gustav Klimt.
The magnificent view over the lake to the Mirnock can be experienced at the "landmark" of the Alpe Adria Trail. Along "Seepromenade" you will hear about the project "Garten:Kunst am See" . The destination of this stage is the "Blumenpark". Again we pass one of the hiking starting points of Seeboden and are served a sweet strudel as a conclusion.
