The "Kölnbreinsperre"

The "Malta-Hochalm-Straße"  is one of the most spectacular Alpine roads! The 14.4 km journey begins at 911 m above sea level. Past the Malteiner water features and through six natural stone tunnels you "climb" to an altitude of around 1,900 m. The destination is the crown of the Kölnbrein dam, with 200 m the highest dam in Austria.

"Pyramiden-Kogel"

On the top of Pyramidenkogel, 851 metres above the Adriatic Sea, the newly built lookout tower was opened in 2013. With a height of 100 metres, the observation tower on Pyramidenkogel is the highest wooden observation tower in the world.
