The powder snow glitters and the fairytale-like winter landscape passes you by on both sides.

childhood memories...

Tobogganing in Carinthia brings back memories of your childhood. Only when you stop off in the rustic huts will you get mulled wine instead of the children's punch. The delicious dishes from the Carinthian Alps-Adriatic cuisine, on the other hand, are available for young and old.

Tobogganing fun at Millstätter Berg

The Schwaigerhütte

As soon as the weather and snow conditions permit, the toboggan run, which is several kilometres long, will be put into operation. You can drive by car via Tschierweg to the last farmer and park here. In approx. 1 hour you hike up to the hut. Arrived at the hut, you enjoy a wonderful view over the surrounding mountain world. Right in the middle of the Nockberge mountains - on the back of the Millstätter Alpe, so - let yourself be pampered by the down-to-earth cuisine. Kaiserschmarrn is particularly recommended at the Schwaigerhütte.

The Goldeck panorama road in Carinthia offers the perfect mixture of driving pleasure and winter fun. The road leads not only to a panoramic viewpoint with a particularly beautiful panorama, but also to the starting point of numerous ski and toboggan tours. No matter - whether on the mountain or at the newly built Wieserhütte - the culinary delights will certainly not be neglected.

Our tip

Stop for a bite to eat at the Wieserhütte. On full moon nights "night tobogganing" is also offered.
